We have designed a fortress interlock system for gated entry to FLT areas by plant operatives.
The system is currently being installed, its main purpose is to prevent operatives working in the vicinity of fork lift trucks.
The system will shut down electrical barriers for fork lift truck access when a pedestrian gate is accessed. The system uses a key in - key out format that will prevent other persons re-engaging the electrical barriers whilst operatives are in the area.
We are using Fortress Interlocks of Wolverhampton to supply the equipment.
System to be completed by the first week of June.
